Linda Goodman has operated her own practice as an independent business consultant for the past 16 years. As a former senior executive for several major corporations, she has a broad base of experience that crosses multiple disciplines including marketing, sales, strategic planning, catalog, and operations within the retail, entertainment, and, hospitality industries.

Her corporate retail background includes serving as a member of the executive committee for divisions of Federated Department Stores and Cole National. Additionally she headed the merchandising, marketing, store operations, and catalog divisions of The Body Shop USA.

Within the entertainment industry Linda spent eight years at American Broadcasting Company where she eventually conceptualized, built, and served as Corporate General Manager of one of the most successful new business development operations in the Radio Division’s history.

During her tenure as Chief Marketing Officer of Thomas Cook Travel when it was the world’s largest travel organization, she ran the company’s second largest profit center and innovated development of proprietary branded products within a commodity industry that received international media coverage.

Linda has worked with clients in diverse industries across the country ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to entrepreneurial start-ups. Her background as both a senior corporate executive and as a consultant has enabled her to utilize emotional trigger research to uncover and make use of customer emotions to craft successful and innovative strategies for numerous companies.

Linda operates her consultancy practice, LG Associates, out of Avon, Connecticut.
